The requested design works concerned the electrical installations relating to the initiative called “STAY IN BUSINEES - 1° STEP”, carried out inside the Mantua (MN) plant.
The interventions were developed in MT/BT cabins 14 and 35 for the adaptation of existing panels and/or installation of new panels for the power supply of the new users envisaged in this initiative. In Cabin 14, the existing MT 10 KV panel (QE10KV C.14) was worked on to connect to n. 4 departures made available for the power supply of the same number of existing transformers installed in cabin 35.
In cabin 35, the QE_10 kV medium voltage switchboard was dismantled to make room for 2 new MCCs, serving the ST16 and ST18 systems respectively. A section of each MCC switchboard (new) was used to install the variable speed motor drives planned for the ST 16 and ST 18 systems. In this cabin, the adaptation of the QE_04 KV Power Center section was also designed.
