BONACCIA NW PLATFORM – OFF-GRID PV SYSTEM

The designed system meets the energy demand of the Bonaccia NW offshore platform through a plant configuration including a photovoltaic generation park, a battery storage section, and a main power distribution network.

Object
Bonaccia NW Platform – Photovoltaic System. The installation mainly includes the following subsystems:

600 V DC – 50 kW PV array;
PV control panel with battery charger (PV and/or generator input);
110 V and 24 V power distribution;
Battery storage – Ni-Cd 9,600 Ah @ 48 V;
ATEX Ex-e Ni-Cd battery bank – 305 Ah @ 110 V.
