The designed plant included three gas-fuelled “lean burn” generator sets equipped with medium-speed engines (1,000 rpm), for a total installed electrical power of approximately 10 MW.
The facility was fitted with a thermal recovery system capable of utilizing all available waste heat. The recovered heat was used at low temperature within a fish-farming system — also designed and constructed adjacent to the power plant.
